Build a Lifesaving Kit. Support Ukraine. Enjoy Ukrainian live music by U3zub, food and beer.
Join Shield of Freedom (SOF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Kilowatt Brewing for a powerful hands-on event where you’ll directly save lives on the front lines in Ukraine — and enjoy some of San Diego’s best craft beer while doing it.
Here’s how it works:
You’ll assemble a real IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) — a lifesaving medical kit packed with critical gear like a tourniquet, hemostatic gauze, and chest seals — under the guidance of Ukrainian & American veterans and volunteers. These kits go straight into the hands of defenders and first responders in Ukraine within weeks.
You’ll also have the chance to write a personal message of encouragement to include in your kit — a reminder to a Ukrainian on the front lines that freedom-loving people around the world stand with them.
Then we’ll raise a glass together — including Kilowatt’s Gold Medal–winning Ukrainian beer — and enjoy great food and live music from local band U3Zub.
Why It Matters
These aren’t symbolic gestures — the kits you build save real lives. Every item you pack helps a Ukrainian survive their injuries and return to their family. Your presence and your donation send a message: Americans haven’t forgotten them, and we won’t stop supporting the fight for freedom.

Your donation covers the full cost of a top-quality IFAK. Space is limited — please reserve your ticket early so we can order the correct amount of supplies. - Beer & Food only Ticket: $49
Can’t commit to a full kit? This ticket funds 1 tourniquet and 1 chest seal — vital components that help save lives in combat.
Want to sponsor more than one kit? Fantastic — simply donate in multiples of $100. If you can’t attend but still want to donate an IFAK from your name, donate $100 and send us a personal message to include in the kit
